Tim was the technician whilst I was a student a Burlham road. We didn’t speak much but I remember one day I was struggling to start my worse for wear Ford Fiesta. I was 19 and just passed my test. Absolutely beside myself and ready to ring the AA I looked up and there was Tim. He spent his lunchtime helping me get the car going, talking to me as he went-calming me down and making me feel like less of an idiot. I’m a Teacher now and I took some Year 10s to the final show at Green Lane a couple of years ago. I was so pleased to see Tim as a tutor, he was a natural and my 10s absolutely loved him and wouldn’t stop talking about how funny and chatty he was. He’s a massive loss to the creative community of Teesside and I’ve no doubt he’ll leave a massive hole in the life of his family-my thoughts are with them.
